Am I the only getting a little bit irritated by the whinging about the date change?

Adam, Chris, and the rest of the committee do a fantastic job, and get little thanks
for it. These guys are busy enough in their real lives that it would be understandable
if they didn't fulfil any role in the UKU, but they do so because they love the sport.
We should be thankful, that we have people with such depth of experience willing to
run the show. I doubt anyone involved in the running of nationals wanted to change the
date from those proposed, but these things happen.

I'm not personally that surprised the date changed, there have never been confirmed
details (e.g a venue) on the UKU website, so I think it would have been fair to assume
that it might have changed until we had some confirmation one way or the other.
Actually it says on the UKU site "acting DoC action. date and venue may yet change."
(and that's still under the old date I believe)

Given a choice between no nationals, and a change of weekend the people involved have
made the right choice. Instead of complaining we should be appluading the UKU
committee, Jo, and Rik (for re-organisng his tournament) that we actually have
nationals and glastonbury happening at all.

If people really are unhappy about then I suggets they get more involved in running
the sport and try and oust the current UKU committee, personally I'll vote for them
all again!
