All,

Having discussed the issue with Adam tonight it is clear that the issue of
rostering needs to be resolved for indoors. I apologise for the delay, I
have not been up to speed on this. Therefore the decision is to progress
based on the following points:

1. Players do not have to paid for membership of UKU for the 2003 season to
compete at National indoors and qualifiers this year. However you must have
paid for previous year, or been a new member taking advantage of the free
one year entitlement. All new members this year are welcome to play.
2. Teams do not have to roster on the uku website. The rostering rules for
indoors have always been treated differently to outdoors (Mainly because
indoor is a different game to outdoors. Team rostering rules for indoors are
as such:
        a. Any player can play for any team at qualifiers
        b. Players may play for one team only (excluding non-competing pick-up
teams filling spaces)
        c. Players cannot change teams between regionals and nationals (ie. if your
team does not qualify then tough - too late to change)
        d. Players who did not play for any team at regionals may be picked up for
nationals
        e. Some leeway is always considered for club teams, but only in exceptional
circumstances. It is expected that teams with 1st and 2nd squads should be
able to run these teams independently.

Any questions feel free to ask
