glibtoolize is alive and kicking in a very popular Homebrew project
(mostly on macOS, but also to an extent on Linux).

 In order to prevent conflicts with Apple's own libtool we have prepended a "g"
 so, you have instead: glibtool and glibtoolize.

It would be great if this alternative naming was well-supported by
autoconf.
