I installed this patch to sync coreutils from gnulib. Most of the patches are in the getdate area: it adds support for TZ strings in dates, and fixes some bugs. I'll fix NEWS next. The changelog entries all say "sync from gnulib". Index: config/config.guess =

coreutils doc fix to cover TZ better

The coreutils manual doesn't cover TZ in some places that it should, e.g., "ls", "who". Also, I'm about to merge gnulib getdate into coreutils, so some cross references need updating. I installed this patch. Maybe the coreutils manual should get reorganized a bit so that TZ and similarly-global
