John, I saw your note to [EMAIL PROTECTED] on 11 Oct 2001, in which you suggested that:
$ g++ -g -g main main.cc would allow $ ddd main to work. Alas, this quick fix does nothing for ddd on my machine. I am running: ddd-3.3.1-5 gdb-5.2-2 gcc-2.96-108.7.2 glibc-2.2.4-29 glibc-common-2.2.4-29 on a Redhat6.0->...->7.2, P-II machine and I get the "$cwd/init.c: No such file or directory" message after launching ddd too. I have used an earlier version of ddd successfully. I still have various files, including init (a script, not a .c) file in ~mike/.ddd/, although g++ wasn't working at that time. Since I brought ddd, gdb, & gcc up to date, ddd has stopped working. My guess is that the problem is somehow related to installing g++. What other packages or setup issue could be holding it back? Any ideas you might have would be greatly appreciated... -Mike Mike Landis <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Bioinformatics Group Bioengineering Department University of Illinois at Chicago _______________________________________________ Bug-gdb mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-gdb
