A user wrote to the licensing list, confused because the gdbserver sources mixed GPLv2+ and GPLv3+. That's not necessarily a problem in and of itself, but when I checked, I thought at least some of the files might have simply been overlooked in the license upgrade. So here is the list from gdb-6.8/gdb for your review. I just did grep -n -r either.version.2 * from that directory and removed a few of the generated files.
