Not for getopt.c, since POSIX requires the word "illegal" there; Well, it could be made POSIXLY_CORRECT, since GNU programs aren't supposed to use "illegal" for this sort of thing, as we all know. However, it's such a minor point that I certainly don't wish to strenously argue for it :).
