using the GNUpod package from Debian unstable, you will get a lot of
deprecation warnings because udevinfo is called.
I wanted to report this to Debian, but somehow my mail vanished, so I do
it right here. Being a lazy person I just attach the mail that Debian's
reportbug tool gave me.
