Follow-up Comment #1, bug #17897 (project gnustep): Thanks ... I was looking at configure.ac and I was wondering ... the variables defined in the config file (GNUSTEP_SYSTEM_ROOT, etc) are never used in configure. So a more radical option could be ... can we remove reading the config file
