I just tried to install the new version with the setup command. This
fails with 'file not found'.
The reason for this is that I have a partition that gets mounted as
/boot. All files reside on /boot/grub (linux filesystem), but grub
searches only (hd0,4)/boot/grub/stage* and sees only
I recently bought Mandrake Linux 7.1 on Cheep Linux 6 disks - Linux 7.1 not
yet being available in the UK on normal distribution. Things didn't go well,
can't get X windows to work etc. GRUB was installed, no option offered. I
want to clean things up and start the reinstallation process again
