Hey, guys. I'm having some trouble getting my grub to install the menu correctly. I
did "grub-install /dev/hda". It says that no errors were reported, and yet the menu
doesn't come up.
Here's /boot/grub/menu.lst
default 0
timeout 30
fallback 1
title LINUX
kernel(hd0,6)/boot/vmlinuz-2.2.17
Just a guess, but it sounds like /boot might be a separate partition. You
might want to make it "/boot/boot/grub/menu.lst"

I just installed Caldera eDesktop 2.4 on to a dual processor machine at
home. And it took two days to figure out why Grub wouldn't boot linux.
It would just give me its command prompt. The reason it was doing this
was because I had the BIOS set to boot off of SCSI frist. And this was
confusing
