I think your problem is very simple.
The floppy device is `(fd0)' not `(fd0,)' !!

There is a BIG scripting error at grub-md5-crypt using the ` characters.
Look at the diff and make your conclusion. :)

well that made the boot floppy but it doesn't work.
it just starts up and prints GRUB that's it.
if I use the dd method to create boot floppy it works.
