Yes I can use syslinux.sys (DOS) to create a bootable FAT disk. It never occurred to me to try it with ext2. Can I use the linux version of syslinux? Would I install the loader to /dev/hdc or hdc1? Whoops, I just tried it. sector sizes other than 512 not supported. Is syslinux only for
