Hi,I had Linux 8 running on my system.I
installed Windows XP on one of the partitions available due to which GRUB
stopped working.And now the problem is this that i am unable to get into my
Linux OS.How can i activate my Linux boot loader GRUB again.thanx in

This is regarding a feature in grub that enables one
to boot into a image (only for the next boot). I saw
some messages asking for this feature the lilo -R
like feature but I didn't see that in the manual nor
in the FAQ.
Does the latest version of grub have this feature ? If
not , would

Do the kernel and ramdisk work all right with a disk? Or could you
please try them with standard GRUB 0.93 on some 'supported'
cards like eepro100 or realtek 8139?
I put a 3c905C-TXM in the machine and tried your patches as well as going back to
0.93. It looks like my system(s) don't like
