GRUB Legacy & e1000 NIC drivers

Hello, We're about to use GRUB for a remote server installation and we need to know if the NIC is supported by GRUB. Does GRUB Legacy have support for the Intel(R) PRO/1000 Network Driver - version 5.1.11-k1 (AKA e1000 kernel module)? If so, from what version on? Thanks in advance, Leendert
