Follow-up Comments ------------------ ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Sam 17.07.2004 at 12:56 By: 0 <None> I checked the support for the ether express 1000, and it works great. I'm using am ibm x40 laptop. Great work :) ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Sam 03.07.2004 at 07:47 By: Feng Shuo <fengshuo> Upload the unfinished UNDI driver patch for grub-0.95-diskless-patch-2. Now DHCP OK on eepro100 and rtl8139, but hang in downloading kernel or initrd. Attention: 1. The PATCH is still in develop! NEVER use it unless you know what are you doing :-) 2. The PATCH only works on the official GNU GRUB with grub-0.95-diskless-patch-2.patch. If anyone want help me to fix the kernel loading bug, we can discuss the patch on the mail list ---- You are welcome :-) ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Sam 03.07.2004 at 07:36 By: Feng Shuo <fengshuo> The patch only contains the sis900 driver fix, new DHCP tag and fixes some compiling warnings of the driver. The unsolicited UDP/IP stack has not been fixed for I want to keep the core UDP stack just the same as etherboot. I will release a seperate patch to fix this as a beta version first :-) ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Sam 03.07.2004 at 02:51 By: Gilles van Ruymbeke <ruymbeke> Is the bug on the implement of the UDP/IP stack fixed in this realease 2 ? cf: [bugs #9245] ARP or unsolicited UDP traffic stops the GRUB TFTP download... ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Fre 02.07.2004 at 05:09 By: Feng Shuo <fengshuo> Release_2: 1. Add DHCP Vendor Tag 'GRUBClient' 2. Fix the sis900 compiling error. ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Die 22.06.2004 at 08:18 By: lode leroy <lleroy> sis900.c contains a macro __pci_driver that is not defined. ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Mon 21.06.2004 at 09:35 By: Feng Shuo <fengshuo> More bug fix will be in next version patch(grub-0.95-diskless-patch-2.patch :-). This patch only contains new drivers. I hope some bugs on tg3 may be fixed with the new driver. Can some one test it and report to the list? I do not have such a card :-( File Attachments ------------------- ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Sam 03.07.2004 at 07:47 Name: grub-0.95-diskless-patch-2-undi.patch.gz Size: 26,21KB By: fengshuo Test UNDI driver patch for grub-0.95-diskless-patch-2 http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?item_id=9408&item_file_id=1455 ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Fre 02.07.2004 at 05:09 Name: grub-0.95-diskless-patch-2.patch.gz Size: 399,95KB By: fengshuo Release_2 with new DHCP vendor tag, fix the sis900 bug http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?item_id=9408&item_file_id=1450 ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Mon 21.06.2004 at 08:10 Name: grub-0.95-diskless-patch-1.patch.gz Size: 399,61KB By: None Diskless boot support from Etherboot-5.3.8 http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?item_id=9408&item_file_id=1420 For detailed info, follow this link: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?func=detailitem&item_id=9408> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ _______________________________________________ Bug-grub mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-grub
