Follow-up Comment #5, bug #15288 (project grub): hmm... I tried to reinstall grub with grub-install /dev/hda
now, the 'grub-set-default' command works proper. But not the savedefault command in the grub-console. You can type 'savedefault' at the grub-console while you are online with linux? I mean: $ grub <loading...> GNU GRUB version 0.97 (640K lower / 3072K upper memory) [ Minimal BASH-like line editing is supported. For the first word, TAB lists possible command completions. Anywhere else TAB lists the possible completions of a device/filename. ] grub> savedefault <-enter does this work for you? I still have the same error. Unrecognized command :( _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?func=detailitem&item_id=15288> _______________________________________________ Nachricht geschickt von/durch Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ _______________________________________________ Bug-grub mailing list Bug-grub@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-grub
