I've just stumbled across this bug on my system (it does run an Asus A7N266-VM motherboard) and I would really like to get memtest working. I'm running Grub-0.97 with the patch posted on 2006-02-07 applied, but it did not solve the problem. What further information can I provide to help debug

Hello, I am currently using grub for a PC104 with a 128Mo compact flash. It is working but really slowly to load the stage 1.5 before the menu is displayed (about 2 seconds). Have you an idead of why it is so long ? Is there a way to optimize the loading time ? For example, using a smaller stage
