Anyway --root-directory= and blocklists are currently broken. Known bug.
To create a floppy image you can use grub-mkrescue and --overlay=overlay/ to
include custom files, though only

Why? This manual is for GNU GRUB (version 1.97~beta3, 7 Ago 2009).
How to make a bootable cd with grub 1.97?

Oh right. I thought we removed everything specific to GRUB Legacy from it
before enabling it in `make install'
Well same answer: grub-mkrescue
Just look at it's --help output, A CD image is even the default.

Thank you, Felix. --overlay= works good.
There won't be a filesystem on it. Only the GRUB which gets there installed
can read the files in the included memdisk.
With grub 0.97 is it possible?
