GRUB causes Window ME to hang on boot

After installing GRUB (for dual-boot Linux purposes), my Windows ME hangs when it boots.When it hangs, on the first Windows ME screen, I can manually shut it off, and then re-boot. That re-boot launches a text screen with four options: 1 = Normal, 2 = with CD??, 3 = with CD??, 4 = Safe Mode.Then
