flex_bg and uninit_bg features.
I used this trick a million times with all versions of grub and this is
the first time I observe such behavior. Any ideas?

i have a triple boot sys. windows ,mandrake ,Ubuntu when down loading up
dates to the kernal in ubuntu grub took over the boot loader an changed
it to only see ubuntu how do i fix this mess.Is there any way that it
can be locked so this wont happen again.I do not want to lose excess to
my data
