Dear Ubuntu experts,
Could you help me with a failure on the installation of the latest version
of Ubuntu (10.10)?
After installing it, I keep receiving the following message after booting:
unknown filesystem
grub rescue>

I had a previous installation of Windows XP and performed the advanced
installation, partitoning the HD (/ with 15gb; home/ with 120gb and swap
with 2gb) as seen below (image taken from terminal using LiveCD):

I even tried the 3 methods of reinstalling Grub2 described on the site
below, but there was no difference.
