I was having a similar problem... My machine would boot and say:
GRUB GRUB GRUB GRUB GRUB etc...
Then i tried to replace the disk with another known good linux boot
disk. The new disk caused the computer to say only:
GRUB
and nothing else.
I spent a lot of time digging up info on this issue,
ly when I get the GRUB GRUB repeat its has something to do with
