There is a typo in grub-install that prevents the printing of a
diagnostic message. The patch below should explain it better.

I have just tried the 0.5.92 and it works great, even with the
stage1.5 stuff. The stage2 simulator is wonderful, it makes life so
much easier. Please keep up the good work!
