Hi Using a boot floppy i can boot either windows or linux from the command line interface. I wish to install grub on my hard drive but i'm not sure what i need to do. I have a windows partition on hda1 and my linux partition on hda2. if i do setup (hd0) at the grub command prompt where does stage2 go, in the windows partition or the linux partition? Does stage2 overwrite any data. I would prefer it if stage2 and the boot/grub directory could reside in the linux partition. Thanks in advance Tim
