grub does not handle /dev/md/1

rescue method missing

and how to solve, which is rather difficult when using a LiveCD with a minimum of tools. Please make the error messages more verbose, and please define a way to rescue a system that does not boot anymore. regards Hadmut ___ Bug-grub mailing list Bug

Grub/Linux on USB-Stick?

(hd1,0)/boot/grub/stage2 /boot/grub/menu.lst... succeeded Done. But when booting a PC with that stick it just prints ...stage2... and then directly starts the boot block of the built in hard disk instead of the USB stick. Can you give me any hint? regards Hadmut
