Follow-up Comment #2, bug #14414 (project grub): Just changing the PCI ID has been tested didn't work :-(. Broadcom and Intel are updating their NIC chip continually it's really difficult to keep up with them. :-( Have you ever tried the UNDI driver for grub? Just copy etherboot's UNDI drive
