Issues booting from a SCSI drive

I've got a Intel BX chipset mobo (with an integrated IDE controller) with 2 IDE drives (IDE0 has Win98), a Adaptec 2940UW with 1 drive (with FreeBSD). I've set the BIOS boot order to SCSI then IDE. I've tried installing GRUB (v 0.90) on the SCSI drive. Problems / Questions. 1. From the documenta
