I just added a new script to the CVS called grub-image. Its job is to generate GRUB boot floppy images. It will not be installed with the rest of GRUB until it has a reasonable user interface. For now, I will just use it to update the GRUB images in ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/grub/ from time to time. You are welcome to hack on it and improve it, if you wish.
