I'm the the person who will do the lilo, grub thing in the
debian-installer. We will install grub from a chrooted environment in
the base-system from the rescue floppy. For this we need to debconfize
grub as fast as we can. This script will also have to create an initrd
for booting and
I don't know what you mean. If you cannot compile GRUB, report the
error messages and your build system. As I don't use Debian GNU/Linux,
"I'm using Debian 2.1 (or another version)" is not enough.
As for the Debian package of GRUB, send a patch to this list, if you
