Hi Adam,
please can you provide us some context information about this bug
report?
How did you installed Guix?
What's the command that's failing with this backtrace?
Thanks, Gio'

Hi!
I have xmonad, ghc-xmonad-contrib and ghc in my global system config, but

It seems connected to a filesystem issue: can you also tell us what's
the output of "mount"?

Hello Raghav
when forwarding the output of commands next time, plz beware your MUS

This seems as a system issue on your side, not a Guix bug

Yes, now that you mention
No, it's supposed to be like that. /gnu/store is mounted read-only (on the guix
system) to prevent you from writing to it. The guix daemon has write access to
the store when it wants to add a new item, or garbage collect.

Very sorry for the confusion, I forgot that! (and I did not check before) :-(

Hello Guix!
Since switching to emacs 27 I've been having issues starting it, seeing
lots of errors like 'Lisp nesting exceeds ‘max-lisp-eval-depth’' when
loading various packages such as magit, ivy, ...etc.
After quite a bit of troubleshooting I reduced it to the `emacs-seq`
package. So if you cr

we have

If some one has an idea how to debug that I would be happy.
I tried `strace -f` and looked around at all those icon places, but I
can't find something suspicious.
My theory is that when clicking `mate-appearance-properties` something
creates or refreshes some caches in the background...

I've been getting kernel panics when i try to build iwd, a dependency of
network-manager.
It crashes hard, so there's no recorded log, but I managed to scrape
this from an ssh session:
$ guix build iwd

PASS: unit/test-p2p
PASS: unit/test-client
./build-aux/test-driver: line 107: 6837 Aborted

Which kernel package variant(s) and version(s) have you seen panic when
building iwd? What hardware?
Thanks,
Mark

Oh no! My disk is a SSD, which is only about 2 years old. Isn't that too
soon?
