I have a guix home configuration with herd services (mcron jobs).
When I run guix home reconfigure, and the user herd daemon is
running, then I get the following errors:
herd: exception caught while executing 'load' on service 'root':
In procedure fport_write: Broken pipe
When I run the SAME reco
ddclient is working.
I checked it with:
sudo ddclient -foreground -file
/home/florian/repo/myLinux/data/nuc/ddclient.conf
The cache file gets updated, sudo cat /var/cache/ddclient/ddclient.cache
## .ddclient-real-3.9.1
## last updated at Fri Dec 24 11:08:10 2021 (1640340490)
atime=0,backupmx=0,cu
With the merge of core-update-frozen this issue went away. :-)
I hope it does not reappear.

I use not only guix chan, but nonguix (for the binary build system and for
clojure-tools)
gorilla (for babashka as binary build; I also use it for vs-codium, but
this is currently broken due
to core update merge) I dont think I use repos from guix-science in this
profile.

I believe something has changed in guix that breaks my package definition
of vscodium.
I had this package running for 6 months, and now it no longer works:

I use guix 1.3, and a simple guix install takes forever. It hangs 2-10
minutes in the profile build phase.
I have a NVME drive, and see 10-80 MB/sec IO Write in this timeframe.
In the terminal I see: "building profile with 159 packages..."
Then I have to wait 5 minutes.

I have interrupted the installer build with qemu after 2 days, because it
still has nkt compelted the build.

Trezor agent used to work on my guix system.
Since today (I guess the last time I fully installed the manifest was a few
months ago) it brings this error:

The guix package clojure-tools-cli is outdated. The gnu guix repo has 0.4.2.
This version is from 2019.
There is a package on "nongnu" channel called "clojure-tools" which has the
up to date version 1.10.3.943.
Unfortunately I am not able to fix this myself, but I think the gnu version
