BTW, when downloading the source tarball just now I noticed that the link
on the download page is incorrect:
ftp://ftp.lilypond.org/pub/LilyPond/v1.9/lilypond-2.0.0.tar.gz
should be:
ftp://ftp.lilypond.org/pub/LilyPond/v2

I just downloaded the latest and greatest version of Lilypond, but
failed to compile it.
Here's the tail of the result of 'make all'.
I'm using v3.0.4 of gcc3 and related stdc++ libraries.

make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/local/src/lilypond-2.0.0/lily'
rm -f ./out/lexer.dep; DEPE
i've installed the RH package of v2 and now have no lilypond mode in emacs.
shouldn't this happen automatically, as it did in previous versions?

supported by flex. You should probably upgrade flex, your

I'm running lilypond under cygwin under Windows XP.
Double-clicking the test.ly file on the desktop does not process it and
produce a pdf file.
I CAN process the file by copying it into my unix home directory and
executing the command line: ly2dvi -p test.ly .
