I have quite a lot of lilypond source that I did back in the
1.3 and 1.6.6 days. I have almost nothing that convert-ly will
process, since it usually produces errors like those below.
(By the way, this is lilypond 2.1.0, running on a Debian woody
system with some later versions of, e.g., guile.)

Here are SuSE fixes for lilypond.
lilypond-2.0.3.patch: Fixed info pages, one include and one line in
configure.in.
lilypond-2.0.3-autogen.patch: Fixes autogen.sh.
And another patch is done via sed. It fixes mandir and infodir and fixes
deprecated head and tail calling (head -1 -> head -n
The install seemed to go ok, but when I double-click on the file, I see a
cygwin window open briefly, then close. No pdf file is created, as far as I
can tell. Definitely not in the directory where the .ly file was.
If I run lilypond from a cygwin command line, I get a .tex file output, but

convert-ly with versions v2.1.33 and v2.1.34 of lilypond.

you're looking for. If it doesn't (I don't read crash logs), you'll
have to point me in the right direction.

calculating staff extent, because lyrics will be to low in that case.
(Now Lily thinks that there will be some collision or too small space below
the staff but that's not true, because there is nothing under the "8"

what is intended.
