Hello, I don't know if anyone has pointed this out but output of ties in the latest releases of lilypond are unsual. On low notes especially breves the tie goes over rather than the expected under. Also when there is a group of tied notes the ties are irregular going up and down and change

I cannot test versions after 2.7.27. The newer versions indicate no error in the compilation but they don't produce a ps-file and pdf-file. I reinstalled the older version 2.7.27 and than I have no problems (I get ps- and pdf-files). So I suppose something is missing in the install program for the

I noticed that when I do the examples in the tutorial, the stems in the treble clef go up in your examples and yet when I do them, the stems go down. The only time I can make them go up is when I did that example of deciding where to draw the beam. Could you look into this? It even happened
