I found a error at page 10 of the pdf manual.
Acrobat Reader (7.0 version) says Errore nel disegno (drawing or picture
error)and the page is also impossible to print.

I don't know if anyone has pointed this out but output of ties in the latest
releases of lilypond are unsual.
On low notes especially breves the tie goes over rather than the expected
under.
Also when there is a group of tied notes the ties are irregular going up and
down and change

I noticed that when I do the examples in the tutorial, the stems in the treble
clef go up in your examples and yet when I do them, the stems go down.
The only time I can make them go up is when I did that example of deciding
where to draw the beam.
Could you look into this?
