I just installed Mepis Linux on a new HP Pavillion laptop and want to download
the following, but when I click on this link, nothing happens
Download the installer;
do sh lilypond-X.Y.Z.linux.sh in a command window.

Other links seem to work fine
Probably, the result of this test case depends on
what fonts are available on your particular computer
but does not show any limitations in LilyPond itself.

When piece="", Lily doesn't do a page break. If piece=" ", a page break is
created, but the spacing is sub-optimal because Lily allocates vertical
space for the space character and associated padding.
