Just a thought--not a bug. lilypond-book refuses to overwrite a main source file, but happily overwrites secondary source files included into the main source file. Irritating if you use the .tex extension for included chapters of a musicological document and even just accidentally call

Ok, then it's not a bug but a feature. In my opinion, it would make more sense to set "top-markup-spacing" to "0" by default instead of having some ghost value that moves the text further down. I have always done this with raise/lower when I needed it. As I said, I'm usually still using an old
