2.2.5 not working on W2k

Hi, I've installed 2.2.5 on a W2k machine (as admin) and it does not work as describe. Clicking on test.ly just opens a dos windows, starts the program and quits without any msg. No .log is written. I've installet from the redhat ftp site. Could you please help? Thanks in advanc
