When I run lilypond 2.4.2 (the latest on Cygwin) with the -m option, it ignores -m and makes a PDF file (the default output option). I notice that the parse_argv() function in main.cc sets a variable called no_layout_global_b to true, but no_layout_global_b is not referenced anywhere else in the so
