The current texinfo.tex does not work anymore with the gawk doc. It
can be reproduced easily as follows:
wget http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gawk/gawk-4.1.3.tar.gz
tar -xpzvf gawk-4.1.3.tar.gz
cd gawk
./configure && make
cd doc
cp /path/to/texinfo.tex .
