when using xboard in ics-mode it doesn't detect a server side
disconnect. E.g. if you write „logout“ in the ics input box or the
attached terminal the logout out screen from fics is displayed and
xboard keeps running with a 100% processor load. Any commands sent to

after updating to 4.6 the ics input box appears automatically when some
letter button is pressed. This is a nuisance as I have been using
letters as shortcuts for ics commands for years like "q" for resign and
"r" for rematch for years. They still work but also appear as input in
the box. I kn
