We no longer are able to select from UP or SMP kernels. ---------------------------------------- Bug #2040: kernel selection on installer cd is broken http://bugs.dragonflybsd.org/issues/2040#change-14318 * Author: ftigeot * Status: Closed * Priority: Normal * Assignee: tuxillo * Target version: 6.4 ---------------------------------------- The fred menu on the installer cd has two choices to select a smp or up kernel, entries 'u' and 'm' If one of these choices is selected, the lowest part of the screen is blanked and a new fred menu appears, restarting the countdown to boot from the beginning. Parts of the old fred menu are left in the top of the screen. I have been told the kernel selection is really occuring, but the absence of any meaningful message and the screen corruption lead to think the menu program has crashed -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
