http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=12206 SubDomain Alias Summary: SubDomain Alias Product: Apache httpd-2.0 Version: 2.0.40 Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: Other Component: All AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Currently, setting up subdomains on Apache is not simple or easy. You could put in ServerAlias (subdomain|*).domain.com, but you still need to ReWrite URL's later to a their respective dirs (or not, but what would be the use then). Why not create an (Alias|DocumentRoot)-directive for these case's? SubdomainAlias email /email/ (points email.domain.com to DocumentRoot/email/) This allows a clear, easy and comfortable way to set up subdomains. Please also note that the first method which is currently being used is broken (bug 12155) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
