Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, the latest available snapshot bsd.rd
(#23: Sat Sep 10) still hangs at the same line of the boot process.
It looks like your commit went in after that snapshot was produced. I will
wait for the next snap and try again.

My Wandboard Quad is unable to successfully cold-boot with any snapshot
after August 23rd. I can successfully reboot into later kernels after an
initial boot with the 8/23 kernel, but on cold boot they hang at this
line:
simplebus5 at mainbus0: "regulators"
