This issue has been solved, it was unrelated to all these programs.
Switching from the "intel" driver to "modesetting" driver fixed it. I
wrote about it here:

Elfeed has around 3500 entries & when I click page down twice in a row,
xenodm crashes. There is no crash when I limit the entries
