I have a (different) cheapo USB WiFi dongle that does the same. doas ifconfig thing0 down unplug and plug in again. doas ifconfig thing0 up doas dhclient thing0 or doas sh /etc/netstart This is possibly a hardware problem. If I act quickly, open ssh connections keep working Hopefully this help
