I just downloaded jre-7-ea-bin-b130-windows-i586-18_feb_2011.jar. I looked at the contents of the new release file in the root directory and its contents were this:
JAVA_VERSION=\1.7.0\nOS_NAME=\Windows\nOS_VERSION=\5.1\nOS_ARCH=\i586\n I presume all those backslashes are not supposed to be there. Tom Salter Unisys
