*Job Title : Business Analyst with Airlines ExperienceLocation : Houston, TX (Need Local)Duration : 3-6+Months ContractPhone and Face to Face Interview Rate : 42/hr on C2C (MAX)Work Authorization : EAD-OPT, EAD-GC, H4-EAD, Green Card Holders, US Citizens (NO H1B) Required Skills:* Must have Team foundation server experience and Airlines experience Coordinating meetings with developers and business users. Quality assurance testing of development work. Create test scripts for user acceptance testing. Oversee the project plan and maintain velocity of the milestones/deadlines. Documentation of training guides and manuals. Additional projects as requested by the manager or director. The Business Analyst – Mid position will be part of the Data Enablement Solutions (DES) team. It is highly preferred that this candidate have SHARES (HP) experience. It is also preferred that the candidate have airline industry experience and have working knowledge of PNRs, Tickets, Baggage, etc. The BA will need to have strong experience in working with data. The BA shall be proficient in SQL and working with data. The BA will be responsible for translation business requirements into technical requirements. The BA will have a big responsibility in the testing of the software solutions. The BA will need to create test data, test the applications and validate the testing results. The BA will need to create complex workflow models and process maps. The BA will also be responsible for data mapping. The BA should be a self-starter and be able to map data from one schema to another with little or no documentation. Minimum education of a Bachelor's degree and possessing 8 or more years’ experience in implementation of large scale critical projects. Ability to independently problem solve and be self-directed plus having attention to details. The ability to capture, organize and analyze information. Excellent communication and written skills in English. Proven interpersonal skills. High level of expertise in MS Office programs and Sharepoint. Extensive knowledge and use of MS Outlook. Use case creation, strong communication and writing skills, must have technical writing capability. Strong system analysis and ability to 'speak to the business' is required. Knowledge of TFS required. Must be a team-player and thrive in collaborative sessions with the department to create the documentation required for this effort.
