*Job title: 1066046: **System Engineer* *Location: Herndon, VA* *Duration: 12 Months* *Max Rate: $58/hour on c2c* *Client: HP* *DESCRIPTION**: * The client seeks an individual to provide on-going maintenance and support of technical monitory systems including resolutions to bug reports, monitoring and verification of the health of the application and its various components. This task considers the updating, repair, development for corrective actions and other mandatory requirements to keep the program functional and operational in its existing infrastructure and operational configurations. *REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:* · 5+ years’ experience in reviewing, analyzing, and modifying programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's application systems · Working knowledge of Windows 2008 and networking · Proven ability to consult with business end users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives · Excellent communication skills: expected to write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections · Proven ability to write manuals for users to describe installation and operating procedures · Working knowledge of relational databases and client-server concepts *NOTE: * · All candidates must be a US Citizen or have permanent residence status. · Cannot have more than 30 consecutive days outside the United States within the last five years.
