*Length:* Min 6 months – very likely to go to 12. *Job Description* Senior System Administrator - WebSphere Commerce Server / WebSphere Application Server Candidate will maintain, troubleshoot and implement web environments with multiple technologies. Candidate will ensure reliability and high availability of enterprise web environments Troubleshoot and methodically identify, research and resolve complex issues in the web environment Determine migration and upgrade impacts, ensure optimized performance and effectiveness of the internet infrastructure Translate business requirements into technical solutions, provide direction and recommendations related to implementation, write policies and procedures *Desired Skills & Experience* Position will provides support for production and non-production environments, existing and new. - Experience with Unix - Knowledge of N-Tier architecture. - Knowledge of Capacity Planning, project management - Experience programming with vbsript, javascript, perl, python, jackyl, jython, or Korn shell scripts scripting tools - Knowledge of enterprise web applications, services, systems and supporting technologies including firewalls/routing/load balancing etc. - After hours and weekend support and on-call rotation will be required - Experienced in leading major, large-scale system or infrastructure implementations - Experience managing, architecting and developing Internet or intranet based applications - Web development experience - IBM WebSphere Application Server 7.x experience - Installation and administration of Websphere Commerce Server V6 or V7.
